我就好彩～記憶中D 22年，我有過5架車都係換過兩次電！我D邊D電通常有2﹣3年保用！有乜事攞番張單去一定有得換！去年我妹架RX8 撻唔著CALL AA 黎救車，換左AA自家牌 電， 有5年連工包料保用！HK D 電咁快打柴，如果無保用真係幾攞命！HK D 電咁快打柴會唔會同HK D 氣候（潮濕）有關呢？

Now, people start "playing" with Li-ion battery, it is 3-4 times more expensive than traditional ones but it is said with the following advantage:

• Lighter
• Last for 10 years
• No problem to start even after leaving cars in the parking log for long time
  

It is quite popular in Taiwan, it is getting attention here in HK

美國都係用呢D所謂環保電，有D3年有D5年保養，試過買舊五年保養我四年多D壞咗，間鋪仲 pro-rate比番credit 我換過舊新電。

My Toyota is 6 years old and is still on the original battery. The battery is maintenance free but can still add water if I want to. May be I have longer drives and keep the battery well charged up. In fact most cars I have owned I have only exchange the battery one or two times. Most of my cars I own >5 years at a time as well. Lead battery likes to be fully charged all the time and its life is shortened if it is discharged to low frequently.

It is something I don't know then.  Can you elaborate a bit?  Actually I'm thinking about giving it a trial

Actually no.  Because the Li-ion battery can discharge and be charged much faster than the Acid-lead battery, usually 20ah to 40ah is good enough.  Again it is what I heard

And I'm wrong, it is not Li-ion but "LiFePO4" or 磷酸鋰鐵電池 so in short form - 鋰電
