These videos are good examples for the Blitzortung.org participants, because you can see the formation of a lightning strike. With our lightning detection system we only want to catch the return stroke. But if the thunderstorm is to close, our stations will also "see" those small flashes, like the stepped leader. The positive strike at 4:00 is also a very good example!
