According to Yahoo! Sports, the Los Angeles Lakers have reached an agreement to acquire All-Star point guard Chris Paul in a three-team trade that will cost them Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom .

The Lakers have finalized the trade with the New Orleans Hornets and Houston Rockets. The Lakers sent Gasol to the Rockets. The Hornets receive Odom, Rockets guards Kevin Martin and Goran Dragic and forward Luis Scola , league sources said.

Houston also agreed to send a 2012 first-round pick – previously obtained from the Knicks – to New Orleans as part of the package, a source said.

Side notes, Shane Batter is going to join the Heats and Tyson Chandler rumors that he is going to be a Knicks... Scary teams are getting scarier...

No, David Stern blocked the deal, after some owners have complained to him about this seemingly fair trade. This is ridiculous, and actually harmful to the league's image. It appears now teams can't do business by the rules (or the CBA), since Stern could and would exercise his power to veto any deal.

He will go to the Lakers. I think David Stern has made a BIG mistake for vetoing the trade.

Ok, back to it again. Chris Paul is going to LA, but the other LA team instead . As long as NBA doesn't screw it up again, Chris Paul is going to be a Clippers. It's gonna be crazy fun team to watch them this season with Paul and Griffin...
