「後幕府大將軍足立義滿接受出使日本的明朝欽差使臣鄭和剿滅倭寇、接受大明朝冊封日本國王稱號、向大明朝納貢、准與明朝通商的諸項宣喻。於西元1401年5月亦既明惠帝建文三年，自稱源道義向明建文帝稱臣納貢。次年2月建文帝複詔，接受足立義滿源道義納貢。」

是否應是「足利義滿」之誤？

「羅宗真指出，鄭和下東洋一事，經過海內外學者研究，不論是《明史》成書的清人著作，或者是其他明人的有關記載，還有日本史書的記載，都證明永東二年鄭和確實出使過日本。 」

應是「永樂二年」之誤。
