Released 38 years ago in December of 1987 ... the classic single "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before' from the final studio album by The Smiths, 'Strangeways, Here We Come' - which ended up becoming a much bigger hit worldwide via the Mark Ronson cover version featuring Daniel Merriweather recorded & released 20 years later ! It was not released in the #UK as the #BBC objected to the song's lyrical reference to mass murder in the aftermath of the Hungerford Massacre.
