John Lennon / David Bowie ----- Imagine

John Lennon, R.I.P. (9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980)

每年十二月, 在西方世界本是普天同慶的月份, 因為不論感恩節或聖誕節, 都是英美家庭最重視的日子, 但四十三年前的 12 月 8 日, The Beatles 成員 John Lennon 在美國紐約家門前被樂迷 Mark Chapman 槍殺, 報導一出, 震驚全球, 從此令十二月份添上了一絲傷感, 世界各地歌迷, 一輪哀悼之後, 樂壇各方亦相繼推出紀念歌曲以表敬意。

在香港最為大家熟悉紀念約翰連儂的歌曲, 相信莫過於英國組合 Roxy Music 的 Jealous Guy, 和結他手 Mike Oldfield 聯同女歌手 Meggie ReilIy 一起合作的 Moonlight Shadow, 同時 Queen 在 Body Language 細碟背面亦有一首 Life Is Real (for Lennon) , 另外隊友 Geroge Harrsion 的 All Those Years Ago 和 Elton John 的 Empty Garden Hey Hey Johnny 等等。
