36 years ago (April 1, 1987), Suzanne Vega released her second studio album “Solitude Standing” featuring "Tom's Diner" and "Luka".  It is the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed album of Vega's career, being certified Platinum in the US and reaching number 11 on the Billboard 200.
