19-5-1978 是德國電子先鋒組合 Kraftwerk - The Man Machine 専輯面世四十三週年的日子, 碟內最為人熟悉的, 必定是曾經先後推出過兩次作細碟的 - The Model, 這首歌現在大家都知出版年份是 1978 年, 最初發行成細碟, 在世界各地, 反應和成績都是一般, 但 1982 年英國 EMI 唱片公司卻籍著 Syn Pop 的熱潮爆發, 將它再版發行, 結果四年後反而登上了英國流行榜的冠軍寶座, 並且在榜上停留了 21 個星期, 從此成為經典。
