"We Will Always Love You", a collaboration between The Avalanches, TEM Studios and Rambert Dance Studios London, is a film of experimental choreography filmed using 3D volumetric capture techniques. From the very beginning of lockdown we realized that live performance was at extreme risk and felt drawn to produce a piece about expression, connection and joy” – Robbie Chater

For the volumetric capture, we synced and calibrated 4 volumetric time-of-flight cameras that captured extreme three dimensional detail. These cameras had to expose with a thousandths of a second delay from each other, 30 times a second, so as not to disrupt the exposure of the cameras opposite.
