Very good overview on how to pair fish dishes and wines..
From my personal experience, it would be an additional choice for those of us who choose to use Viognier from the Condrieu Appellation (Rhone, France) to match white meat fish.
For full flavored fish such as pan-fried Halibut, you can also use Marsanne/Rousanne based wines from Rhone to match. It will be interesting to try these combinations! We should feel courageous to try these different pairing choices. |
