      凱莉·克萊森（Kelly Clarkson，1982年4月24日－）是勝出葛萊美獎的美國流行音樂歌手。2002年，凱莉參加了美國真人秀節目《美國偶像》第一季的比賽，憑著其紮實的唱功和穩定的演出，由全美電視觀眾投票選為比賽的冠軍，成為新世代的美國偶像。凱莉勝出比賽後於2003年推出首張專輯。
      凱莉在朋友的鼓勵下參加第一季的《美國偶像》的面試，她的表演獲得評判們的一致讚賞，在逾萬多名的面試者中脫穎而出，參與這場比賽。她成功推入了三十強，每周的表現亦受到大眾和評判寶拉、西門和蘭迪的喜愛，而且從未成為得票率最低的一群，她亦憑著翻唱騷靈天后艾瑞莎·弗蘭克林的《Natural Woman》，席琳·狄翁的《I Surrender》和流行歌手瑪麗亞·凱莉的《Without You》，最終順利進入最後十強決賽，可見美國觀眾對她的支持。2002年9月4日決賽，凱莉克萊森憑著《A Moment Like This》得到58%的得票率，擊敗對手Justin Guarini，贏得《美國偶像》第一季的冠軍寶座。而她主唱的《此時此刻》亦成為她推出的首張單曲，首週銷量236,000張，成為第一首冠軍單曲。
