when I was working in west Austrilia from 1977 to 1980,only 15 aus. dollar.

Assume exchange rate in 1997 to 1980 is 1 Aud = 5 HKD
Then 15 Aud = 75 HKD
Maybe 75 HKD in 1997 to 1980 = 750 HKD today , after take account to inflation

when I got there at the beginning,the exchange rate was1 aud=6.8 hkd,a few months later ,one friday it drop 17% by the government.
