木屋易起火? No, 這是我們一般不太準確的觀念
因為是房子不管是木造或是水泥裝潢的東西都易燃
反而地震時木屋較安全

Wood structural is very common in high seismic zone like Japan, California in US.
Wood buildings are generally low-rise and use resisting systems like plywood shear walls that result in very short fundamental periods of vibration.

Wood construction perform the best under earthquake. It is widely used in North America. Plus it is a natural insulation for building envelope to keep the occupant warm.
