many people prefer to drive than to take public transport, even stuck in the traffic jam,  why?
in mtr or bus, too many thieves. They steal your wallet or phone, or cut your bag or jacket. Also the passengers are so rude and keep push you in.
For taxi, they always make the longest route. If you complain, they will keep argue with you.
So the best way is to drive. Safest way especially for woman.
How lucky we are in HK.

爲了帶動內部消費,政府早兩年補貼購買汽車,完全罔顧嚴重全國大城市塞車及做成空氣污染等問題，強國人錢多，出租車難找，最方便就買車，遇到限制單雙號行車，就買多一部車，一日駕駛單號車牌，一曰駕駛雙號車牌，完全上有政策，下有對策，做成問題日益嚴重！

No one obey the rules/law, so you get chaos.

Only slightly better than India.
